In the last fiscal year, she was able to run 15 in-store events remotely and in-person that not only boosted our businesses sales and growth for the year but to also build the intimate relationship with clients and influencers that can be a struggle to otherwise replicate online. Sourcing vendors, building clientele lists, and working closely with retail team is a crucial part of the event planning process.

Some key events she has run is the Gastown Grand Opening VIP Night where several activations were hosted such as a museum of art from local artists, hired a local DJ, handmade flower bouquet and a bartender to serve mixed drinks on site.

KPIs

On a weekly basis, Taryn leads the marketing meetings that cover OAK + FORTs KPI’s on a paid ads and social scale. KPIs being tracked are newsletter CTR, ROAS, eComm traffic and retail traffic. Not only am I evaluating these goals but also consistently working with my team to learn from our past and how we can grow beyond our target!
